Our Ladies Group will be selling homemade chicken noodle soup Sunday, March 4th after service. This is not a dinner. Cost for soup is $6
This meeting was held Sunday, January 21st, 2018. It opened with Jim presenting previous meeting minutes from 11/19/17. Angie read complete minutes to the congregation. Ann made a motion to accept meeting minutes as read; Scott 2nd, vote; passed.
Jim noted that councilhad previously motioned for Char Fishback to continue on as council member in George Toy's seat until December2018. Bringing motion to congregation for their approval. vote; passed.
Motion made to accept 2017 Annual Committee Reports as presented mad by Ann; Nicole 2nd; vote; passed
THE GLC WITTENBER SCHOLARSHIP-This is available for member enrolled at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. It provides a full tuition scholarship at Wittenberg for those whose application is approved by the GLC council. Applications for the Wittenberg Scholarship can be found on our GLC website: www.greenfordlutheran.org/wittenberg-scholarship OR picked up at the church office . Submit applications to: GLC Church Council, attention Christian Education Chairperson by March 1, 2018.
LESLIE ANN SEIDNER FOUNDATION: This foundation provides scholarships for GLC members within their first four years of high school graduation. Applicants must apply each year in order to be eligible for scholarships. For more information, application, and/or deadlines contact Sherry Taylor or Pam Hiner.
